Why not a hundred-person shop.
Large dev shops can’t afford developers who stop to question the spec. They have a bench to fill and seats to rotate, so everything gets executed strictly as written, without second-guessing.
We stay small on purpose. The developer on your first call is the one building your product. If a request doesn’t make sense, you’ll hear it right then and there — not after the invoice.
Most of our clients aren’t technical. They know their business better than anyone, but can’t accurately map it into a spec. Executing that spec literally would mean making an expensive mistake together.
